VanTech Fine Arts WeekMusic Showcase4/10/2024 This year's Fine Arts Week Concert is going to be held on April 10th in the Van Tech auditorium! Junior ensembles will be performing during the day, at around 1:40pm, and Senior ensembles will be performing during the evening, at 7pm. The Senior concert will be a costume contest in which both performers and audience members are encouraged to participate! No costume restrictions other than being school appropriate and the winner will receive a prize. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch this wonderful showcase

VSD Honour Band Performance3/13/2024 We are proud to announce that our first ever Vancouver School District Honour Band performance will be on February 22, 2024, at 7:00pm in the Vancouver Technical Secondary auditorium! We will be featuring Jaelem Bhate, our guest conductor, as well as an additional guest performance by the Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Livestream links are down below.

Jazz Cabaret 2023!11/23/2023 We are super excited to announce that Jazz Cabaret is back everyone! 🎉🎵 Our 7th annual night of fun(draising) will be held on Thursday, November 16th, so make sure to tell all your friends and family! We're looking at parents and alumni, but of course anyone (as long as you're 18+) is welcome to come! This event is going to be held in the Van Tech cafeteria and will last from 6pm-9pm. Food and refreshments will be available and there will be a silent auction held as well, so make sure to bring cash/cheques! Our main performers will be, like usual, our very own jazz band and vocal jazz ensembles, but we also have a special guest- the Backporch Serenaders- so there's plenty to look forward to! 🎷 Individual tickets will each cost $20 and if you're in groups, tables of six for $100. For ticket purchase, please contact: [email protected], [email protected], or any Van Tech music student. Tickets that are not pre-purchased will not be given a seat, but standing tables can be bought day-of. Additionally, if smaller children are a concern, we are offering childcare services on-site led by certified students which will be $10 for the whole night! We are looking at a minimum age of 6, and we will keep whoever it is entertained until parents are able to pick them up after the event. Can't wait to see everyone! 🥳🎶

Jazz Cabaret 2022!12/9/2022 Jazz Cabaret Fundraiser Event! Where: VAN TECH CAFETERIA When: 6-9:30pm Please bring cash or cheque for purchasing food and for the silent auction! Please note this is an 18+ event. Our annual fundraising night of fun is back for it's 6th year and we want you all there! (If you're 18 or over). Alumni and parents, that's you! There will be food, dancing, and a silent auction. You'll be listening to performances by our jazz band and vocal jazz ensembles, and there will be a special guest performance by The Backporch Serenaders and dance instructor Barney Lee! Tickets cost $20 each, OR you can get a table of 6 for $100. To purchase tickets, please let a music student know how many tickets you'd like to purchase, or contact @[email protected] or [email protected]. We're excited to see you all there supporting us!
