Senior Band (SCB)
Grade 10-12 with 2 years or more in musical experience
This class is the premiere performing ensemble of the Band Program at Van Tech. Class rehearsals focus on advanced musicianship, challenging technique, musical leadership, and application of music literacy skills. Students in grades 10 through 12 who are beginners may take this course with the permission of the instructor. Students in this course are invited to participate in the annual Senior Music Tour. Participation in concert performances is an expectation of this course. Concerts will take place both during the school day and outside of regular school hours.
